Embroidery workshop of Jewish symbols.
As part of the celebrations marking 250 years of Jewish life in Sweden, and in collaboration with Hemslöjden and Jönköping County Museum, I was invited to hold a workshop on Jewish crafts. I chose to focus on embroidery of Jewish symbols.
I brought all the necessary materials with me, and we embroidered for two wonderful hours after a brief presentation on traditional Jewish textiles and what they are used for.
